ANZAC Tomorrow..

hello cthulhu
And I feel horrible because I totally forgot until I spoke to my mum this morning (it doesn't exactly get a lot of press in Norway).

I'd just like to say that I'm v proud of my little brother who will be marching tomorrow, not for the first time, but tomorrow he will be wearing his first ever suit and mum was almost in tears over how grown up he looks (he's the baby, but at 13 towers over the rest of us). He's marching on behalf of our grandfather who we lost almost 11 years ago.

Somehow maybe brilliance has struck, I've found something to write about again.

It's not actually the Queen's birthday on Monday (her's is 21st of April).

It is, however, Johnny Depp's birthday. How nice of Australia to declare a public holiday for him!

Xbox and hookers on dad's credit card

  • May. 15th, 2008 at 10:26 AM
oh dear
A 13-year-old boy from Texas who stole his father's credit card and hired two prostitutes has been convicted of fraud.Newark teenager Ralph Hardy confessed to ordering an extra credit card from his dad's existing credit card company and taking his pals on a US$30,000 spending spree, which culminated in them playing "Halo" on an Xbox with the hookers in a Texas motel.

The $1000-a-night prostitutes were released without charge but Ralph was given a three year community order upon his conviction on May 9, money.co.uk reported.

How does this garden grow? Very high, with $1m in marijuana..

As gardens go, this is not what the occupant of this Liverpool house wanted to see - a million dollars worth of marijuana plants stacked neatly on his front lawn by police.

Following an anonymous tip-off, Liverpool police raided the house in Medley Avenue at 8am, arresting a 39-year-old man and discovering large marijuana plants growing in every room of the house.

Holy crap.... way to be incredibly obvious about it... growing it in the front garden. Wtf???

What is the law regarding extortion in NSW?

Just out of curiosity.

Story may come later.

It's like a bajillion degrees in this house, I feel like I'm dying.

BUT! Chris is cooking breakfast burritos from a recipe he got from Sin City director Robert Rodriguez (can be found in the bonus features on the Sin City DVD or searching it on YouTube).

He's such a sweetie. Getting up in sweltering heat and cooking over a hot stove to make delightful breakfasts of awesomeness.

hello cthulhu
I just received this email from my good friend Sean so I'm doing my bit to promote his upcoming film Gabriel which is in cinemas this week. Do your bit by letting your friends, family or even strangers (you never know who might enjoy it or be interested) know about it and go see it!

In cinemas this Thursday (15/11/07)

Life is good...

hello cthulhu
Oh happy days.

x2 best friends engaged.
Trip to England in just over a month.
Selling a buttload of my clothes in a couple of weeks.
Spending my weekends playing video games and watching anime.
Eating incredibly good food.
Having a fantastic boyfriend who is working on a fantastic MMO.
Going for a one hour run a couple of nights a week.
Visiting Brisbane this weekend.
Sister recovering well from operation.
Inspired to get naked and get photos taken.
Other best friend just moved to the US and having an awesome time.
Friend having his film released into cinemas soon (Gabriel - go watch it!!).
Learning little phrases in Chinese to make Chris giggle (like "Hugs please" and "Honey bee").

I'm liking this little space I've made. It's a good rut.

Some things that I've recently discussed with Nic: baby names, places we'd like to drink wine, the delightfulness that is avocados, the wonder of lingerie and our shared hatred for anyone who takes money from us (landlords, taxman, Boost Juice etc).
